On Friday, March 27, at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, the Monday Band, which is Bridgewater-Raritan High School's competitive jazz band, earned a silver rating at its final competition.
According to Dr. Tom Bourgault, who is the high school’s Co-Band Director with Nick Mossa, senior Saraansh Rawat earned the OVERALL SOLOIST AWARD from the ENTIRE NIGHT of performances, which was given by over a dozen bands, for his tenor saxophone feature "Emily."
“Our rhythm section earned the title of Best Rhythm Section that night as well! Members of that section are Gabriel Faiella, Jay Fang, Gabriel Kim, Philip Nielson, Aaron Persky, Noah Roberts, and Shaant Sachdeva,” Dr. Bourgault reported.
Dr. Bourgault also stated that “aside from our last competition, two members of the Monday Band have earned spots in the NJAJE Region II Jazz ensembles: Jay Fang on piano and Olivia Strother on tenor saxophone.”
He added.
“A big final outing for our band students!”


The 4x100 boys' track and field relay team broke the school record for Bridgewater-Raritan High School, running 43.34 at the prestigious Penn Relays, held at legendary Franklin Field in Philadelphia on Friday, April 24. The record-setting Bridgewater-Raritan team was Max Pasewaldt, Kenny Graham, Jishnu Kalaivan, and Justin Reid.

On Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday April 29, the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments - Adaptive (NJSLA-A) in Grade 9 English Language Arts (ELA) and the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment in Science (NJSLA-S) will be administered. On Thursday, April 30, the NJSLA-A in Mathematics will be administered. Bell schedules will be affected on test days. The inaugural Bridgewater-Raritan High School Unified Flag Football Team will play its first home game when it is the host to Union High School on Tuesday, April 21, at 4 p.m. at the 1000 Turf Field


The Bridgewater-Raritan High School Theatre Arts production of Little Shop of Horrors opened Thursday, April 16, before an enthusiastic crowd in the high school auditorium. The performance will continue on Friday, April 17, at 7 p.m., and then at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. Here are some scenes from the fantastic opening night.

Mr. BRHS is a one-of-a-kind pageant where seniors get to step outside their comfort zones, show off their personalities, and compete for great prizes. Even though seniors take the spotlight, students from all grades can join in by joining a team!! Once nominated, you get to create a group of upper and underclassmen that supports you and brings out your best. This is all about letting loose, having fun, and trying things you normally wouldn’t—whether that’s performing, dressing up, or just being bold in front of a crowd and showing off your talent.
