Exciting news: Full Day Kindergarten Coming in 2026-2027

Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District will offer Full-Day Kindergarten for all district students. This enhancement reflects our commitment to giving our youngest learners the best possible start through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in a supportive and enriching environment. Kindergarten Registration 2026-2027

• A child turning 5 years old on or before October 1, 2026 is eligible to be enrolled in the BRRSD Kindergarten program for September 2026.

• Students currently enrolled in the district Pre-K program, do not need to register.

First Grade Registration 2026-2027

• A child turning 6 years old on or before October 1, 2026 who attended an equivalent Kindergarten program outside of the BRRSD, is eligible to be enrolled into First Grade for September 2026.

• Students currently enrolled in the district Kindergarten program, do not need to register.

Documents needed to Register new Kindergarten and First Grade Students for 2026-2027

• Two documents showing Proof of Residency (property tax bill, mortgage statement, copy of executed deed, signed settlement statement, ALTA statement, recent utility bill, copy of executed lease, recent insurance or medical documents, affidavits of domicile).

• Birth Certificate

In order to avoid potential enrollment delays, please provide your documentation as soon as possible. No in person appointments are necessary. Parents can complete the process remotely and upload all the required documents to the online application.

Required documents for registration

• Proof of Residency (Please submit 2 of the following: property tax bill, mortgage statement, copy of executed deed, signed settlement statement, copy of executed lease,  current utility bills)

  • All bills/statements must be less than 2 months old, and the parent/legal guardian's name, date, and address must all be visible - Pictures of envelopes will not be accepted

• Birth Certificate

• Immunization Records

• Current Physical Examination (A physical is considered current when it is less than one year old.)

• Student Transcript/Report Card (if available)
