The program is open to all Bridgewater-Raritan resident children who are 3 and 4 years of age on or before October 1, 2026.
Applications are for general education children who are NOT eligible for special education and related services as a Preschool Child with a Disability.
Kindergarten aged children turning 5 years of age on or before October 1, 2026 are not eligible for preschool.

General Education Lottery Seats

In an atmosphere of “we all belong,” children with and without disabilities are provided with learning opportunities to facilitate academic and social success!

  • Program follows BRRSD District Calendar

  • Start date is September 8, 2026

  • Program runs 5 days per week, Monday – Friday and follows the BRRSD District Calendar

    • AM Session: 8:55am - 11:35am (subject to change) OR PM Session: 12:35 - 3:15pm (subject to change)

  • Each inclusion preschool class is comprised of children with special needs and typically developing preschoolers (general education peers)

  • Programs will be located at Adamsville, Bradley Gardens, Milltown Primary and Van Holten Schools (subject to change)

  • Monthly Tuition – $400.00

  • Transportation is currently NOT  provided.  Families are responsible for transporting children to and from the program daily

  • There are no AM/PM preferences – children will be placed according to homeschool location, seat availability, gender and age. 

  • Lottery Applications for general education children for the 2026-2027 school year are due by February 13, 2026 by 3:00pm 

  • Lottery drawing – February 18, 2026

  • Families will be notified of lottery number and AM or PM session assignment via email by February 25, 2026

  • Students may remain in the program until Kindergarten age (turns 5 by October 1 of the current school year – Board Policy 5112) 

  • Children will return to their homebase school for kindergarten

  • Siblings – each sibling requires an application 

  • Applications must be completed each year to be entered into the lottery for children currently NOT attending the program
