Field Day signals Fun Day in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.
The seven primary schools and two intermediate schools in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District celebrate the near-end of the school year and the near-beginning of summer when the students and staff participate in Field Day.
This traditional spring activity features numerous games and challenges that both students and staff, as well as parent volunteers, all engage in with plenty of fun.
The spacious fields at each of the nine school buildings, as well as the gymnasiums, are the venue to field these wonderful Field Day activities.
Dave Guglietti, the school district’s Supervisor of Health and Physical Education, touched on both the enjoyment as well as the education that the students experience.
"Field Day is something the students look forward to every year. It signifies the end of the school year and really allows the students to enjoy all they have learned within the Health and Physical Education curriculum,” Mr. Guglietti stated.
He concluded:
“It is always wonderful to see students and staff coming together and having fun outdoors!"
