Third-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan High School was edged by top-seeded Westfield High School, 8-7, in the North Jersey, Group 4 boys' lacrosse state sectional final on Tuesday, June 10, in Westfield. Westfield will seek its second straight Group 4 state title when it meets Kingsway Regional High School this weekend.

Bridgewater-Raritan’s 4x100-meter relay team, which was comprised of senior Liya Medallon, senior Stacey Yang, sophomore Shelby Stevens and sophomore Meera Buddhikot, ran a time of 50.01 to establish a school record at the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday, April 25, at legendary Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
Their performance at this famed worldwide track and field event broke the Bridgewater-Raritan record of 50.28 that was set 15 years ago by Sherry Oller, Thanida Sersuwan, Morgan Monroe, and Julia Murray.
“They had their sights on the record for a while now. Their hard work and commitment have really paid off,” said Adam Pyle, Bridgewater-Raritan's girls’ track and field coach. “No better place to make school history than at the longest running track and field contest here in the U.S.”

Bridgewater-Raritan High School's assistant wrestling coach, Ray Jazikoff, was named Region 4 Assistant Coach of the Year during the final day of Region 4 at Union High School on March 1. He helped head coach Kyle Murphy guide the team to its first Group 5 state final this year.
Four Bridgewater-Raritan High School wrestlers, including champion Matthew DiEduardo, advanced to the state tournament by placing at the Region 4 tournament at Union High School on Saturday, March 1. DiEduardo, the winner by fall in the Region 4 final at 165 pounds, 132-pound Mark Marsigliano and 190-pound Lerrod Smalls, who each placed third, and Trent Levash, who finished fourth at 215 pounds, each placed in the top four of his weight class and will each wrestle in the state tournament that will be held from Thursday, March 6 through Saturday, March 8, at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The top four place winners in each weight class at all eight regions that ended in the state on March 1 qualified for the state tournament.

Top-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan High School opened the South Public ice hockey state tournament with a 9-3 victory over 16th-seeded Princeton High School at the Rock Ice Arena in Dunellen on Monday, February 24. Bridgewater-Raritan will play in the quarterfinals on February 27.
