The Bridgewater-Raritan High School football team delivered a convincing 40-14 victory over Hillsborough High School in its home opener on the afternoon of Friday, September 11, at Basilone Memorial Field in Bridgewater.
That result provided Bridgewater-Raritan with its first victory against Hillsborough since the 2017 season.

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School girls’ soccer team opened its 2026 season with an upset 1-1 tie against Rutgers Preparatory School, ranked No. 1 in the country, on Wednesday, September 2, at Basilone Memorial Field’s Turf Field in Bridgewater. Rutgers Prep, which is also ranked No. 1 in New Jersey, had won 48 straight games and had not lost a game since the Prep Tournament state title game against Pennington School in 2023. Bridgewater-Raritan had lost seven straight games dating to 2022 to Rutgers Prep, which has won the last four Non-Public B state championships.

Bridgewater-Rartian High School’s football team opened its 2026 season with a 28-7 victory over Woodbridge High School on Friday, August 28, in Woodbridge. The boys' swim team, the girls' swim team, and the ice hockey team, each of which captured a state championship this school year at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, were honored on Monday, August 10, when they received rings during a ceremony in the high school's auditorium
The boys’ and girls’ swim teams each won the Group A state championship on the same day and in the same pool at the Neptune Aquatic Center on February 25.
The Bridgewater-Raritan boys’ swim team, which is led by Head Coach Evan Seavey and Assistant Coach Max Newill, swam past its Somerset County rival, Hillsborough High School, 108-62, in the state final meet to cap its 12-0 season and win the program’s fifth state championship and first since 2018.
The Bridgewater-Raritan girls’ swim team, which is guided by Coach Chris Levine and Assistant Coach Laura Karns, ended the season with a 12-1 record when it defeated Cherry Hill High School East, 108-62, in the state championship meet and claimed the program’s sixth state title and first since 2019.
Bridgewater-Raritan won its first Public state championship in ice hockey when it defeated Ridgewood High School, 2-0, in the state final on Monday, March 9, at the Prudential Center in Newark, the home of the NHL New Jersey Devils.
The ice hockey team, led by Head Coach Vincent Arnone and Assistant Coach Steve Diamond, finished its historic season with a 23-3-1 record.



The Bridgewater-Raritn High School's boys' lacrosse team, seeded third, was defeated by second-seeded Westfield High School, 11-10, in overtime, in the semifinals of the North Jersey, Group 4 state tournament on Thursday, June 4, in Westfield. Westfield, the Group 4 state champion the last two years, scored the winning goal at 1:58 into OT. Westfield, which forced overtime with a goal in the final seconds of regulation, will meet the winner of the top-seeded Ridgwood High School and fourth-seeded Montclair High School in the state sectional final on Tuesday, June 9.
Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s boys’ volleyball team is the Skyland Cup Champion for the third time in four years.
Second-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan, ranked 19th in the state, defeated top-seeded and eighth-ranked Hillsborough High School, 3-2 (25-20, 22-25, 21-25, 28-26, 15-13), in the Skyland Cup final on Thursday, May 21, at Hillsborough High School

Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s baseball team, seeded fifth, fell to top-seeded and defending-champion Immaculata High School, 7-6, in the semifinals of the Somerset County Tournament on Monday, May 18, at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater. Immaculata erased a 6-4 deficit with three runs in the sixth inning to rally to the victory. Immaculata will meet second-seeded Watchung Hills Regional High School in the Somerset County final on Wednesday, May 20, at TD Bank Ballpark, the home of the Somerset Patriots.






Top-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s boys’ lacrosse team was defeated by second-seeded and defending-champion Gill. St. Bernard’s School, 8-6, in the Somerset County Tournament championship game on Saturday, May 16, at Somerville High School. Bridgewater-Raritan was seeking its eighth Somerset County title and first since 2018.




The 4x100 boys' track and field relay team broke the school record for Bridgewater-Raritan High School, running 43.34 at the prestigious Penn Relays, held at legendary Franklin Field in Philadelphia on Friday, April 24. The record-setting Bridgewater-Raritan team was Max Pasewaldt, Kenny Graham, Jishnu Kalaivan, and Justin Reid.



















The inaugural Bridgewater-Raritan High School Unified Flag Football Team will play its first home game when it is the host to Union High School on Tuesday, April 21, at 4 p.m. at the 1000 Turf Field

Bridgewater-Raritan High School played its first-ever Unified Flag Football game on Thursday, April 9, falling to West Morris Central High School, 34-18, in Chester. Bridgewater-Raritan received touchdowns from Giovanni Fuentes, Sofia Green, and Brady Baxter.
