Jaden Lee and Lauren Yang, who guided their teams to championships this school year, were honored as the Bridgewater-Raritan High School 2026 Somerset County Interscholastic Athletic Association Senior Scholar Athletes Award winners.
The athletes were joined by their families, high school administrators and coaches at the award ceremony held on Wednesday evening, April 29, at the Bridgewater Manor.
Lee guided the Bridgewater-Raritan boys’ swim team to the Group A state championship this winter and an undefeated season. The state title was the fifth for the Bridgewater-Raritan boys’ swim program. Lee was also named the New Jersey State Boys’ Swimmer of the Year by NJ.com.
Yang was a member of the Bridgewater-Raritan gymnastics team that captured its fifth straight Somerset County championship this past fall.
