Five students who were key players on the Bridgewater-Raritan High School football team that won the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 5 state championship, the program’s first state sectional playoff title this past fall, signed letters of intent to continue playing college football next year.
On Wednesday, April 8, the following players joined Coach D.J. Catalano for a signing ceremony at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
Matt Pizzelanti. An offensive lineman who will play at Hamilton College in New York.
Gavin Zeiman. A long snapper who will play at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania.
Justin Simpson. An offensive lineman and defensive lineman who play at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania.
Denzel Amoafo. A running back and defensive back who will play at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.
Christian Antunes. A defensive lineman who will play at Ithaca College in New York.
