The Class of 2026 wrestlers were honored by Bridgewater-Raritan High School at Senior Night on Wednesday, February 11.
The seniors were recognized in a ceremony before the match which Bridgewater-Raritan fell to Ramapo High School, 45-27, at Vaughn Stapleton Gymnasium in Bridgewater.
Bridgewater-Raritan will be home next week when it bids to successfully repeat as the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 5 state sectional tournament champion.
The first two rounds in the state sectional tournament are set for Monday, February 16, followed by the championship on Wednesday, February 18.
In the opening round on February 16, Bridgewater-Raritan will wrestle East Side High School from Newark, and Piscataway High School will meet Elizabeth High School. The winners from those two bouts will then wrestle later that day.
The winner of the semifinal will meet the semifinal survivor in the other half of the bracket for the state sectional title on February 18.
