Four Bridgewater-Raritan High School boys’ soccer players were honored when the Soccer Coaches Association of New Jersey (SCANJ) held its All-State Awards Banquet on Sunday, January 4.

The Pines Manor in Edison was the site where the top boys’ soccer players from throughout New Jersey were honored by the SCANJ.

The four Bridgewater-Raritan players who were honored and their awards:

Senior Michael Battista, 2nd Team All Central Jersey

Senior Kyle Carvalho, 3rd Team All Central Jersey

Senior Ariel DeJesus, Honorable Mention All Central Jersey

Junior Conor Rosander, Honorable Mention All Central Jersey

Carvalho was honored but was unable to attend the affair.

Coach Mark Heinbach of Bridgewater-Raritan was present at the banquet.

"It is an honor to be invited to the All-State Banquet, and I am very proud of these young men,” Coach Heinbach said. “Having the opportunity to be recognized among the best players in the state is quite an accomplishment."
