Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s boys’ cross-country team will feature a balanced lineup of veterans and rookies this fall.
Veteran Coach Dave Evans can call on at least 11 established runners to guide Bridgewater-Raritan this season.
Those key runners for Bridgewater-Raritan are seniors Michael Braswell and Anthony Ciminelli, juniors Alex Kurasinski, Arjun Prakash, Paarth Sharma and Zach Urbanowicz, sophomores Tharun Naguleswaran, Phil Sushko and Jeremiah Wiley and freshmen Mateo Vasquez and Sebastian Vasquez.
The regular-season schedule features the Shore Coaches Invitational at Holmdel Park on Saturday, October 4, the Skyland Conference Championships on Tuesday, October 14, at Phillipsburg High School, and the Somerset County Championships on Tuesday, October 21, at Pleasant Valley Park in Basking Ridge.
The post-season will begin when the State Sectional meet is raced on Saturday, November 1, at Greystone Park in Morris Plains. The Group Championships are next on Saturday, November 8, and then the Meet of Champions on Saturday, November 15, both to be run at Holmdel Park.
