Bridgewater-Raritan High School Athletics

A group of skilled junior runners will be counted on this girls’ cross-country season at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.

Dr. Adam Pyle, the veteran head coach for the girls’ cross-country team, will rely on juniors Kaitlyn Chu, Sofia Carmen Daniels, Lana Guelich, and Sofia Rizarri when the season is launched on Saturday, September 6, when the Roxbury Invitational is raced at Horseshoe Lake Park in Succasunna.

There will be senior leadership for Bridgewater-Raritan in the form of Dahlia Adams, while freshman Madison Kohl DeRossa is a young but gifted runner. Juniors Miaoxin Chen and Ella Lim and sophomore Gia Agrawal will be other contributors.

The regular-season schedule features the Shore Coaches Invitational at Holmdel Park on Saturday, October 4, the Skyland Conference Championships on Tuesday, October 14, at Phillipsburg High School, and the Somerset County Championships on Tuesday, October 21, at Pleasant Valley Park in Basking Ridge.

The post-season will begin when the State Sectional meet is raced on Saturday, November 1, at Greystone Park in Morris Plains. The Group Championships are next on Saturday, November 8, and then the Meet of Champions on Saturday, November 15, both to be run at Holmdel Park.
