Aville breakfast

A tasty way to “kick off” the day was enjoyed once again on the morning of Wednesday, October 1, at the Adamsville Primary School.

Adamsville’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) sponsored its annual Donuts with Grownups in the school’s multi-purpose room, which was packed with both students and their families who feasted on donuts and drinks.

Dr. James Singagliese, the Adamsville Principal, explained this popular early-morning event.

“Students were invited to bring one special adult from their lives to school early in the morning for a sweet breakfast treat and the chance to meet new families and friends,” Dr. Singagliese stated. “This event truly embodies Adamsville’s belief that strong family and community connections with the school form the foundation for educational success.”

Andrea O’Brien, Adamsville’s dedicated PTO President, explained the importance of this breakfast.

“It serves as a community building and a really nice way to start our day,” Ms. O’Brien said. “We have been running this for many years, and we want to keep it going.”

She added:

“It is a great way to kick off the morning.”

The families appreciated the meal and the opportunity to catch up and meet with their fellow Adamsville parents.

“This is great to get to know others in the community, and it is nice and early, so parents can make it,’ said Jackelyne Liverani, who was joined at the event by her daughters, Ariana, who is in the 4th Grade, and Leanna, who is in Pre-K. “ We look forward to this.”

“We sincerely thank the PTO, teacher volunteers, the special guest adults, and—of course—our wonderful students for making this event such a success,” Dr.Singagliese said.
