The Festival of the Arts continued with the Orchestra Concert on Wednesday night, March 26, at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, where intermediate, middle school and high school students performed. The Festival's final musical show, the Band Concert, is Thursday, March 27.

The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District's Festival of the Arts opened on Wednesday, March 19, when the Choral Concert was performed at Bridgewater-Raritan High School's main gym. The Orchestra Concert is set for March 26, and the Band Concert will be played on March 27.

School was not in session on Wednesday, January 29, but teachers and staff were busy sharing educational lessons and recommendations in rooms across the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District that day.
The school district’s PD (Professional Development) Day was held on January 29, when speakers held productive sessions on a wide range of topics at numerous school buildings throughout Bridgewater-Raritan.




Snow and frigid weather have not halted the start of construction of the addition to the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School. The construction of the new wing at the Middle School is a significant component of the 2023 District Referendum that will result in full-day Kindergarten and the addition of Sixth-Grade students to the Middle School. Work is scheduled to be completed by September of 2026.




On Tuesday, December 10, the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education awarded a bid to renovate the High School Performing Arts Center. This project is possible due to the success of our 2023 referendum and will commence at the end of the school year. Please take a moment to look at our renderings.



Attention Bridgewater-Raritan Community:
Our Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District has received notification from Somerset County regarding the status of water service affecting our buildings. Water service has been restored, but a boil water advisory has been issued for our area.
All 11 of the schools in our district will be open tomorrow, Thursday, October 31, but we ask all parents to please send their children to school with bottled water to drink during the school day. Water fountains will be closed during the day tomorrow.

Bridgewater-Raritan Schools are closed today due to a water main break affecting our region. We will provide additional updates later in the day.

The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education was the host on Friday, October 25, to a rededication and ribbon-cutting ceremony commemorating the newly renovated Basilone Memorial Field Complex. Phase one of the project included the replacement of the home bleachers and the renovation of the fieldhouse, parking lot, and pathways.

The Council of School Associations (CSA) of Bridgewater-Raritan held its first General Meeting of the 2024-2025 school year on Tuesday, October 15.
The meeting, which was directed by CSA Co-Presidents Paul Wein and Minal Patel, was held in the Wade Administration Building, the headquarters of the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.
The audience included the representatives of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) from the schools in the district as well as Board of Education members.

A live broadcast to watch the candidates for seats on the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education answer questions from moderators will be aired on Monday, October 14. The BOE Candidates Night, which is sponsored by the Council of School Associations of Bridgewater-Raritan and brought on the air by BRTV, will be shown live at 6 p.m. that day on Cablevision channel 15 and Verizon channels 26 and 28.
