Bridgewater-Raritan High School has been named to the College Board's AP 2025 School Honor Roll, earning Bronze recognition for the second consecutive year. This prestigious award recognizes schools that demonstrate exceptional commitment to expanding access to Advanced Placement coursework while maintaining high performance standards.
The Bronze designation reflects impressive achievement across three key metrics from the 2024-25 school year:
47% of graduates took at least one AP exam during high school
44% of graduates scored 3 or higher on at least one AP exam
13% of graduates completed five or more AP exams, including at least one in ninth or tenth grade
"We are honored to receive the AP Bronze Award from the College Board," said Superintendent Bob Beers. "This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our students, the expertise of our teachers, and the support of families throughout our community."
The district is already looking ahead to continued growth in its AP program. "While we are thrilled to earn this distinction, Bridgewater-Raritan has set our sights on achieving Silver status in 2026," Superintendent Beers added. "This reflects our unwavering commitment to expanding access to rigorous, college-level courses while supporting student success."
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools across three award levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—based on the percentage of students participating in AP coursework and demonstrating college-level achievement through exam performance.
