Bridgewater-Raritan defeated Bayonne High School, 21-14, to win the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 5 state sectional playoff championship on Friday, November 14, before an enthusiastic crowd at newly renovated Basilone Memorial Field in Bridgewater.
Bridgewater-Raritan's magical season ended on Friday, November 21, when it fell to Passaic County Tech, 23-14, in Group 5 state playoff semifinals at Basilone Memorial Field.
Bridgewater-Raritan closed this historical season with a 9-4 record.
