On Tuesday, May 19, the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education approved the appointments of two new assistant principals, adding experienced educational leaders to both the middle school and high school teams.
The district is pleased to announce that David Guglietti will join Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School and Dr. Matthew Mawn will join Bridgewater-Raritan High School, both beginning this July.
Mr. Guglietti has been with our district since 2022 as the Supervisor of Health and Physical Education, and before that spent time as Vice Principal at Saint Leo the Great School in Lincroft and as a classroom teacher in Orange, New Jersey. He holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Kean University.
BRRSD is also proud to welcome Dr. Matthew Mawn as an Assistant Principal at Bridgewater-Raritan High School. Dr. Mawn currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Roxbury High School, where he oversees school operations for a building with over 1,300 students and founded a nationally recognized Aviation Academy. He holds a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University and has been recognized with multiple state and national awards for his leadership and innovation in education. Dr. Mawn is an active voice in New Jersey educational leadership circles, having presented at conferences and contributed to state-level committees focused on student achievement.
We look forward to the expertise and dedication both Mr. Guglietti and Dr. Mawn will bring to our students, staff, and community.
