Athletic online registration for the fall, winter, and spring seasons through the PowerSchool Parent Portal will open on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 8:00 am. 

Deadlines for Athletic Registration 

Fall - Friday, August 7, 2026

Winter - Friday, November 13, 2026

Spring - Friday, February 26, 2027

PHYSICALS

Fall Sport Physicals - Physicals are due to the HS Health Office by Friday, July 17, 2026.  All student-athletes must have an approved physical before they are permitted to begin any athletic season.  Sports physicals are good for 365 days from the date of the exam.  If a physical expires during a particular sport, the student-athlete may continue until that sport is completed but must get a new physical before their next sport.  Physical Form

Health History Update Questionnaire - If you submitted a physical form to the Nurse's Office that was completed more than 90 days prior to the first day of official NJSIAA practice, you must submit a completed Health History Update Questionnaire signed by the student’s parent or guardian to the Nurses Office.     

Physicals and Health History Update Forms can be dropped off at the High School and placed in the white mailbox located outside of the entrance doors to the High School Main Office on the left or mailed to:

Physicals should be maintained by the healthcare provider completing the physical exam (medical home). It should not be shared with BRHS. The last page “Medical Eligibility Form” is the ONLY form that should be submitted to the BRHS Health Office. The physical exam must be completed by a healthcare provider who is a licensed physician, advanced practice nurse, or physician assistant who has completed the Student-Athlete Cardiac Assessment Professional Development module.

Please make a copy of the entire packet for your records. 

2026 FALL STARTING DATES AND GOOGLE CLASSROOM CODES

Please be sure athletes join the Google Classroom for their sport to get updated information from their coaches. 

Try-outs for all teams will be a minimum of three days and can be as long as seven days. All candidates should arrive 30 minutes prior to the starting time of all try-out dates and practices. After try-outs are complete, practices will be held daily and all players are expected to attend all practices scheduled by their coach. Candidates are only permitted to participate in try-outs for one team during a season. Signing up for and participating in try-outs for more than one team at a time is not permitted.
