Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s boys’ cross-country launched its 2026 season with a championship when the Magee Memorial Class Meet was run on Saturday, September 19.
The races held at Greystone Central Park in Morris Plains were divided into grade groups. Bridgewater-Raritan captured the Senior Division race, which fielded 14 teams and 163 runners.
Bridgewater-Raritan’s winning effort was paced by Zach Urbanowicz, who placed second with a time of 16:13.80 over 5,000 meters and Zane Hoffman, who finished in fifth in 16:35.06.
Also placing and contributing to the title for Bridgewater-Raritan were Alex Kurasinski, who came in 22nd place; Thomas Geertsma, who finished 41st; Arjun Prakash, who ended 92nd; and Gregory Wronski, who was 124th.
Owen Manderski of Bridgewater-Raritan was the champion of the Freshman Division race when he ran the 3,200-meter course in 11:32.15. Bridgewater-Raritan finished third in the Freshman Division in a field of 20 teams and 217 runners.
Also placing in the top 10 in the Freshman Division for Bridgewater-Raritan were Johnny Roberts, who ran 11:47.1.7 to end in sixth, and Kyle Romero, who came in 10th with a time of 12:12.80.

Filip Sasko, who came in 22nd, Jamie Jaggi, who ended 105th, Sohom Sumant, who was 148th, Viaan Salwan, who ended 152nd, Samanyu Megaravalli, who was 183rd, and Aarav Jetly, who ended 206th.
