Referendum projects and Strategic Plan updates are presented at CSA meeting

Reports on Referendum 2023 projects and the Strategic Plan mission by the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District and a fundraiser sponsored by the Education Foundation of Bridgewater-Raritan were among the presentations when the Council of School Associations (CSA)  met on Tuesday, May 21.

The general meeting of the CSA of Bridgewater-Raritan was held at the Wade Administration Building, where members of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) represented their schools—there are 11 in the district—and received updates and news about the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.

Superintendent Bob Beers delivered his report, which featured a presentation on the updates of the projects as the result of the voters' approval of the Referendum 2023.

His presentation included renderings of the wing that will be constructed at the Middle School.

Superintendent Beers also provided an update on the Strategic Plan launched this year.

Bruce Moran, the school district’s Communication Director, presented news about the inaugural Education Foundation Golf Outing that will be played on Thursday, July 11, at the Fox Hollow Golf Club in Branchburg.

Mr. Moran, an Education Foundation Board of Trustees member, asked that the PTO representatives spread the word about the golf outing, the primary fundraiser for the Education Foundation.

The golf outing will help raise funds for the Education Foundation, which supplies grants and scholarships to the staff and students in the school district. He reported that the Education Foundation website has all the details for registering to play or sponsor the golf outing. The golf outing is open to the entire public.

The CSA Executive Board also shared the news that the registration for summer camps has been positive.
