Child Study Team session highlighted the final Delayed Opening of the school year

The final Delayed Opening Staff Development Day was held in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District on Tuesday, May 28.

While most of the staff in the school district participated in the workshops in their own schools, the Child Study Team convened at the Wade Administration Building on that Tuesday morning.

According to Dr. Dan Silvia, the school district’s Assistant Superintendent for Special Services:

“The Child Study Team completed its final training of the year working with the New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education.”

Dr. Silvia added:

“The focus of the year-long series is ensuring we provide the least restrictive environment to educate our students with disabilities.”

These sessions on May 28 were the fifth and final Delayed Opening Staff Development Day of the 2023-2024 school year. The three In-service Professional Development Days were already held this school year in the district.
