Spectators for Athletic Events (Effective 2/17/21)

Based on Governor Murphy's Executive Order issued on Friday (2/12/21), the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District will allow limited spectators to indoor interscholastic events. A maximum of two (2) parents/guardians of Bridgewater-Raritan participating students will be permitted to attend home games/events. This applies to Bridgewater-Raritan families only. Spectators from visiting schools will not be permitted to attend Bridgewater-Raritan home events held indoors at this time. This applies to all Bridgewater-Raritan Athletics and other approved extracurricular activities happening indoors, including those happening at an off-site facility.

  • When arriving at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Gym, each parent/guardian must hand in a completed copy of the attached Pre-Screening Form. 
  • Parents/guardians are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the game their child is participating in.
  • Parents/guardians are not permitted to stay for any game other than the one their child is participating in. If their child participates on more than one team, the parents/guardians may stay for those games.  
  • Parents/guardians must sit in the bleachers at least 6 feet apart from other spectators outside of their family/household.
  • All spectators must exit the gym immediately following the game while maintaining the 6-foot distancing.
  • Masks must be properly worn at all times.
  • No food or drink is permitted.
