Families of primary school children can take part in an interactive read-a-long about a beautiful parrot who is living through a pandemic.
Penelope becomes sad when she can no longer be around her friends. Throughout the book she learns to cope with how she feels and grow from the experience.
This book is specifically used with children 5 and up and their families to create a relatable situation during the Covid pandemic. Throughout the story there will be singing and guided movement for the participants. The program only runs for 45 minutes and will be taking place at 6:30pm in hopes families can get home and sit down together for the program.
This is an interactive, entertaining, and fun self-care webinar incorporating Storytelling, Movement and Song!
