The Center’s unique curriculum of children’s art classes allows young artists to enroll in in-depth classes designed to deepen and develop skills in a single medium. Register for one of these late fall classes:
The Dynamic Sketchbook
Classes for ages 9-12 begin October 6th; Teens begin October 10th
Students each week students will go at the artist-book with no-holds-barred approach. Collage, graffiti,
stencils, transfers, decals, drawing and painting and more will be used.
Classes for ages 9-12 begin October 1st; Teens begins October 31st
Students will learn various styles of cartooning including the popular Japanese styles of manga and
anime. Students will learn to build the skills to design their own original cartoon characters.
Classes for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs are offered
online on Monday afternoons beginning November 2nd, and provide guided experiences
that foster communication, creativity, and problem solving with hands-on activities.
